Volunteers are an important part of our children’s ministry. They lead the space for children to connect and grow together while learning about Jesus.
Pre-Sunday School Supervisor. For our kiddos who choose not to join us in worship, a supervised pre-Sunday school space is offered for coloring and crafts. Craft materials are supplied, we just need superviosrs who want to enjoy some quality fun with our youngest members, before the message.
Nursery Caregivers provide care for our littlest ones (birth-2 years-old) on Sunday mornings. By providing a warm and safe place for children, caregivers help parents worship free of worry!
Classroom Assistants are those who have the desire to support children’s ministry on Sunday morning and assist the classroom teacher. Assistants help classes run smoothly and safely.
Teachers lead children through a Bible story, games and Bible related activities provided by Danielle.
Qualifications
- Attends Crossroads regularly
- Has completed the Children's Ministry volunteer application
- Has submitted a ciminal record review, specific to working with vulnerable people
- Has a love for children and a desire to see them grow spiritually
- Is dedicated to personal spiritual growth
- Strives to be a positive example for kids and other volunteers to follow
