Join with us, in raising funds in response to the urgent needs in Guatemala and help build a brighter future for those who have seen their lives turned upside-down through a pandemic, tropical storms and economic hardship.
Two Tropical Storms have swept through much of Central America and have caused widespread destruction in Guatemala. It has directly impacted the area of Tactic, where Impact Ministries is located, and its surrounding areas.
Families in Guatemala were already struggling because of COVID lockdowns, but now two Tropical Storms have displaced thousands due to flooding and landslides. Impact Ministries is providing food and shelter at one of their schools for families who have had to evacuate and also food hampers and firewood for those in great need.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 by November 30th, 2020, to support Impact Ministries in their relief efforts and we would like to invite you to help us reach this goal. We believe our community can help the rural community of Tactic, Guatemala in a practical way during this time.
We know that this is a challenging time for us in Canada as well, so we are only asking if you would give what you are able: $10, $20, or more if you’re inclined. 100% of all money raised will go directly to Impact Ministries to aid in their relief efforts.
