We extend whole hearted gratitude to those who have given their time to shop for and deliver groceries to vulnerable persons in our community. This act of service is an example of where God calls upon us.
So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 TPT
While regulations regarding the number of persons we can safely expect to 'expand our bubble' to, have relaxed somewhat, the fact remains that we still need to be diligent in our efforts to protect vulnerable person in our comuninty. The pandemic caused by COVID-19 is just as serious now, as it was when necessary precautions limited our in person interactions.
To continue support members of our community who are unable to shop for essential grocery and household items, our local grocery stores are taking orders for grocery pick-up and delivery services.
In order to meet the continued demand for these services, Crossroads volunteers will shop and deliver groceries for Clayton's Heritage Market in Sechelt.
Volunteer shoppers & drivers are needed Sunday through Friday for 2-4 hour shifts; morning and afternoon.
If you are able to fill even one shift a week or bi-weekly, please contact the office.
