This year Crossroads collected items monthly throughout the year for the Operation Christmas Child boxes! Our Prayer Shawl Ministry hosted a packing party in October where 56 boxes were filled using these items along with items collected by this group of ladies.  Tess, Deb and the ladies at Wildflower Quilting Studio also provided 10 beautiful boxes filled with material, sewing kits and amazing needle holders for the older girls which may encourage them to start making items that could provide income for their families - thank you! Wildflower Quilting Studio also donated space for us to have two sewing parties during the year where several ladies from Crossroads made over 200 beautiful cloth bags to include in all of our boxes. 70 bags were also shipped to Calgary to be used at the Distribution Center. Thank you to all of the Crossroad families who packed boxes as well as members who hosted packing parties at their offices - we packed a total of 134 boxes! Please continue to pray for the children and families who will receive these gifts! 

 

We will begin collecting items again in January so please take time to look at the list of monthly items under Global Missions - OCC and start shopping for bargains! Thank you!
