At Crossroads, Community Groups are an essential part of community life. Connecting on Sundays in the larger gathering is important, but it is equally important to connect in smaller Groups where people live life together. In order to accomplish this we have several Groups meeting weekly, each carrying a common thread from the Sunday message and each with their own unique atmosphere, and character (broader teachings, kid friendly, gender specific, singles, couples, etc.).
Community Groups connect weekly, encourage one another, pray together and discuss the recent Sunday message.
It is a place where participants can gather together to care for one another through encouragement and practical expressions of love and kindness.
It is a place where participants can grow together to become fervent followers of Jesus Christ through the process of discipling, teaching and mentoring.
It is a place where participants can develop and use their God-given gifts and abilities to help others in our church and broader community.

Community Group Member Feedback:
“As a newbie to the church scene, I really wanted to know what all the fuss was about to be part of a community group after hearing about them on Sunday mornings multiple times. So I signed up and made a personal commitment to attend weekly. I was an observer at first, and totally fascinated by the dynamics, but found that my desire to have a deeper relationship with God was growing as my relationship with my community group grew. My group has provided a structure to learn and understand the Word of God, but also to share in lively discussions that relate to everyday life and the world around us. Something that started out as a curiosity, has developed into something that is grounding me and making me hunger for more. My Community Group night is a night I look forward to every week. I was nervous to walk into my first meeting but those nerves quickly gave way to joy. It’s added another layer of belonging beyond Sunday mornings. It’s a safe place to be, it’s given me additional opportunity to grow my faith, ask questions and learn more about God.”
